Jasper : last stop, end of the valley...

This is what I call : a dilemma!!!!

great landscape + a good book = fabulous holidays

So what do u think of this place to take a break (i was driving all the time) and relax for a bit...I think it is hard to make something better!!!! I loved those kind of moments...it is so basic, so simple...but i dont need more...AWESOME

Moraine Lake

If u r looking for a peaceful spot to relax...I found some for u!!! Moraine Lake and the surrounding are a little paradise on earth...

This famous Lake Louise!!!!!! finally...

When u talk about Canadian Rockies, u direcly think about Lake Louise....and now I can certify this lake exists for real...and the emeraud green of its water is magnificent...
The lake is like a mirror....and behind u can see the Ski Slopes area....
I am looking forward to ride there!!!

The Rockies : my favourite view...

To give u the context....a sunny morning driving around to discover some nice places of the Rockiers : lakes, rivers, forests...
Then, we found this great view....Probably my favourite...

The Rockies : Banff

View from the main Street !!!!

The Rockies : Banff

It was for me the most waited step of my country....After hearing so much about the Canadian Rockies....it was time to finally experience it
The first step is Banff...a fancy small village surrounded by incredible landscapes!!!!!!
Here are some examples.....

Calgary : obliged stop....

After 3500kms and 54 hours of bus trip....Calgary was my final destination....because it is the best place to start a West Canada trip...
Except the location interest, there is nothing here (ok , the Stampede and the Flames are kind of...), a very new city without that much history, which expanded a lot lately because of the oil boom...

The Big Trip....yeah baby!!!!! From one sea to the Other...from one border to the other!!!!

After a while in Montreal, going on trips for few days, but not more...it was time for something bigger....something of the size of this country continent....like the canadian "devise" says : a mari usque ad mare (From Sea to sea)...
It was time for me to cross all my adoptive country....and doing it on earth...to be able to say that I know this country....be able to certify that Ontario is a very very large province....that the Great plains exists for real....and u have fields for kilometers in every direction u r looking at...say that SUVs are compulsory after the Ontario/Manitoba border...understand that you are nothing almost in the middle of this powerful nature. U just have to try to understand it, deal with it...and respect it!!!!!!
This picture is for me the perfect symbol of all that...there, u r the intrusive character..Elements, Animals and so on do not care about u...u have to respect...
So this trip leaded me to almost 15000kms throughout North America!!!! and especially West Canada...
I used every single way of transport possible : Coach, car, tram, subway, zodiac, plane, train, bus....and I had one of the best moments of my life....here are some instants captured...
And I think it is time to change the rules of this blog a bit, I wrote everything in english till now, but sometimes I need french...its the only language I can transmit so precisely what I want and it is the most beautiful language ever as well....so why not to use it :-p...

New York City...

Everyone knows it even before even going there, because it's perhaps the city the most pictured and filmed in the world...and actually, everyone has been there...so I will not add anything...Few Pics I like of The City

Niagara Falls : a great natural phenomenon...and the worst human exploitation...(Part Two)

But if u look around....This Las Vegas/Disneyland mix is the worst thing made by humand kind...
And Canadians are the main responsibles of that... :-(

Niagara Falls : a great natural phenomenon...and the worst human exploitation...(Part One)

So this place has two sides, first and foremost...great waterfalls, even if they r not that high (what i knew before)...the wall they r making and the power of the current make them very impressive....Just nature force...

Toronto : SH land....

Even if everyone (especially Quebecers) told me Toronto was boring like hell, I decided to have a look by myself...and actually It was not that bad....
The title of this post is dedicated to those people who can understand this SH thing :P

Fenway Park !!!!!

U have a MLB Ball Park in almost every single big american city....but u dont have that many as legendary as the Red Sox Fenway Park....
Since they started to build up new modern stadium, few old one remain!
Fenway Park is one of them, the most authentic one and even if the seats are not that comfortable and the visibility always perfect....This stadium is a legend...
Hope Bostonians are going to keep it this way for a LONG TIME !!!

Extra Time in Boston!!!!

Charles River and Downtown at Night....Always a pleasure to spend some more time in BeanTown

Tadoussac and Fjord Saguenay (Part 2)

the next morning...early wake up to discover that all the mist and rain has left....
Time to enjoy!!! I definitely love the Canadian Nature...

Tadoussac and Fjord Saguenay (Part 1)

After many US adventures, it was time to discover a bit more of French Canada...
Not being original , I took the direction of Tadoussac, a french ghetto resort or kind of, during summer. But a great place to observe Whales and visit the great Saguenay Fjord...
If u r not lucky, this is what u can see...or not see, depending if u r optimistic...
